Yeah, well, if you're feeling discouraged because you feel like your life isn't even close to the first arrow, and in fact if your life feels more like the second arrow, then that's great!!! It means you're on track. How cool is that?
The thing is, you have to keep going. Yes. One more step, then one more. Do you have clarity about what you want to accomplish? If not, then maybe your next step is getting honest with yourself about what will really make your heart sing. If your heart sings when you think of your dream, it's a good sign that you are on track! Sometimes I encourage people to "fail well." In fact, there are times that I've invited people to do the crappiest job at something they possibly can! That is a place to start. You can do this! Really! And you're not in it alone either; you are never alone.

You have said something so true, and so liberating, about success.
