Are you in business? Without customers or clients, there is no business. One of the important elements of attracting clients is the "Know, Like, and Trust" factor.
That means that people do business with those that they "Know, Like, and Trust". So how do you build that? One way is through your website. Video is a good and important way for people to get to know you. Writing is a way for them to know what you know (blogs are great for that!). If you share your knowledge, then they know there must be more. Endorsements from happy customers helps build the trust factor. You know what you know about your business, but you somehow have to get that across to your potential clients. "If you build it they will come" is pretty misleading. You need to build it, and then you need to tell people it's there, what it does, and how it will help them!

"There is always room in your life for thinking bigger, pushing limits and imagining the impossible." ~Tony Robbins Imagine what your life would look like if you could snap your fingers and have your life fill your heart's desires. See it clearly. Imagine what it feels like, how great it is. Your life is full of possibility. Stretch into the vision.
A clear vision that you spend time with each day is in itself an action step that will help you build. You can do this! As we bask in the beauty of spring and head into summer, gardeners are tending their plots of earth. Today I planted some seeds in the hopes of growing some veggies in my garden. It was such a marvel to me to put all those different seeds, some similar, some so different into the dirt and know that they had the potential to become something more. The thing is that once you plant a seed, the first thing it does in the darkness of the earth is fall apart! Yes. It appears to disintegrate and rot. But we all know what happens next. It starts to sprout.
You don't see the sprout right away, but after a while it pops up into the light of day. You still have to tend it. It is still vulnerable. You have to make sure the conditions are right for that kind of plant, make sure it has enough sun and water and protect it from the weeds and predators. You have to do the same things with your dream. You take action and start the ball rolling. It looks like it's just going to fall apart, but you trust that it will grow. You have to tend it. Make sure conditions are right (learn what you need to do to take care of your particular dream). Watch out for the predators of dreams: fear and doubt. One way to chase them away is by taking action! When I was first starting to garden my mother-in-law obm answered my concern that some of the flowers I planted might not succeed. She said: "Some will blossom and flourish and some won't make it. If something doesn't make it, just plant again!" Keep moving in the direction of your dreams. You can do this! Here's a dramatic story of change. What change do you want in your life in the next year? Are you willing to make a commitment to yourself? What small step can you take right now that will move you in the direction of that dream?
(It's OK to ask for help!) Here's a great website for learning more about online business: http://www.virtuallyignorant.com
In the words of the website:"We aim to be a one stop shop for learning how to build a website from scratch. There are so many choices and options on the web, it can be difficult to navigate through them all and decide what solutions are best for you."Having someone reliable do the legwork for you means you don't have to learn it all the hard way.
