Every time you send out an email, you have an opportunity to advertise for free in a non salesy way. By adding a signature line with live links to your website and also your contact information, you make it easy for people to know what you do and be in touch with you.
After I learned this tip and created my first signature line with links, a dear friend of mine wrote me to tell me that just as she was opening my email, a colleague came by and was talking about his troubles with his teen. She saw my links and recommended my book, which the man bought for his son. You don't know who will see your signature line or the timing. It takes just a few minutes to create and it doesn't cost a thing. You can see my current sig line as of this writing below. ==> Go to the "settings" of your email program (in gmail you'll find it in the upper right corner by clicking on the little cog icon). Then look for signature and write in what you want people to know about you at a glance. ==> Remember: short, sweet, and with live links that you check If you don't already have a signature line going out on all your email, now is a great time to create on and let your email go to work for you!
